We are an independent monthly magazine established in 1991,
serving the islands of Mull, Iona, Ulva and the surrounding area.
Round & About is compiled and printed on the Isle of Mull.
Deadline for submissions, advertising etc - usually 19th of the previous month.
Date of issue normally the last day of the preceding month.

Diary of Events

Most events throughout Mull & Iona have been cancelled for the foreseeable future due to the Coronavirus pandemic, however it is heartening to see a few events coming up.

Tobermory Producers Outdoor Market - Every Monday 12-2 from end of July or sooner!
All the regular stalls plus BBQ. Watch out for details!

Torosay Castle Gardens: Open Day -First Sunday of every month from now until October,
10am - 5pm

Tobermory Horticultural Society Summer Show
We are hoping that this will be able to go ahead on Saturday, 22nd August 2020,
Aros Hall, Tobermory, 2-4pm.
If not , some aspects of the show can still be judged and will be virtually displayed online, so please keep being creative, which is our theme for this year.

We will still be judging the best garden, so please email your nominations to clanhoneyman@aol.com

The children's class and photographic competition can be judged on line.

Scarecrow Competition
These are currently being displayed on our facebook page. Just email a photo to clanhoneyman@aol.com

The Ross of Mull and Iona Gala Scarecrow Trail 2020
Scarecrows should be in place by Friday 24th July.
Two photographs should also be sent to the Ross of Mull and Iona Gala Facebook page for judging by the public or by email to: jackdegna@gmail.com Please include the title of your scarecrow, the category you are entering and your contact details. There is no entry fee for this.
Judging will close on Wednesday 5th August and the winners announced soon after.
